The hotel provides a spacious area for storing ski equipment, and the drying zone for ski boots is quite warm, ensuring that skiers can wear dry boots the next day. Both breakfast and dinner are served as buffets. Although the variety of dishes isn’t particularly extensive, it’s sufficient to satisfy people with different tastes. Interestingly, the free self-serve ice cream and drink stations are always crowded. Watching the cheerful children and elderly people sharing the same space, each enjoying themselves in their own way, made me forget I was in Japan. Before going to bed at night, you can relax in the hot spring, washing away the fatigue of the day — a truly comforting experience. The hotel is conveniently located between two lifts, just a few minutes' walk to hop on a lift and head up the mountain for skiing. About five minutes from the hotel is the Evergreen Ski School, making it incredibly convenient for those who want to learn or improve their skiing skills.

This unassuming hotel just works. It’s walking distance to one of the key skiing schools where we send our kids to every morning. It has a nice public bath with an outdoor area where my kids had so much fun bathing in the snow. It has a restaurant that serves buffet with free flow alcohol for very affordable prices. It has a drying room so we basically park all our wet and cold gears in there and next morning they are dry and warm. Staff were always polite, friendly and helpful. This is the Honda of hotels - it’s no luxury, but it has everything you need and gets job done.

Perfect location of the hotel for our short stay and 1 day ski in Hakuba Happo One. Hotel seems bit old but sufficient for reasonable price. Breakfast was simple but OK. Onsen / Public batch was perfect. The facilities for skier is perfect - enough room in heating room, additional heater in lobby for fast drying, spacieous lobby with small shop (noodle cups and hot water included as well as tea & coffee machine and of course you can buy drinks and beers as well in vending machines) Staff on reception was very polite and helpfull.

Rooms are large by Japanese standards but really just a room and bathroom, not that much additional space if you had full capacity. Onsen on site is a bonus but very much traditional and etiquette must be followed - make sure you are aware of this. Location was fantastic compared to so many other places - this is very much in the snow and you could walk maybe less than 100m to lifts.

First time in Hakuba, went there for a family snowboarding trip. While the property is a little bit dated in terms of decor, it was simple and clean. Rooms were spacious. Common area were large and the common baths were easily accessible. No shortage of storage space as well. We ended up having breakfast on the property everyday as it was simple but tasty with good service.
